Rebecca has been an RYT 200 yoga instructor for two years and has taught over 1,000 hours of classes. She teaches all types of classes but specializes in Beginner Yoga, Gentle Yoga, and also teaches Yoga for Athletes and Yoga for the Inflexible Person classes. She is happiest outdoors and teaches Outdoor Yoga at local parks enjoys SUP Yoga and also offers private yoga lessons.

Rebecca had practiced yoga for 17 years before becoming an instructor.  After having back surgery, she was in pain, had limited physical activity and mobility, and had lost strength.  Yoga was an approved activity by her surgeon, and after a few months of daily yoga, she had no pain, increased strength, flexibility, and mobility.  It was the feeling of freedom and wellness that inspired Rebecca to become an instructor and to share the joys of yoga with others and to help people feel good.

She believes yoga is for every person regardless of age, size, shape and perceived limitations, and her classes are nurturing and full of positive energy.  Rebecca was a varsity soccer player at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and graduated with a BS in Environmental Science then worked for various environmental non-profit organizations for 15 years.   Rebecca is the mother of four children, freelance writer, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Independent Distributor for AdvoCare.
