Poonam’s classes focus on the balance between breath, mindfulness and physical fitness and are suitable for people at any level on their Yoga paths. Poonam emphasizes the benefits of Yoga for all ages and for people with varying levels of physical ability.

Poonam Jain is a 200 RYT who teaches Yoga in the riverbend area.  Although Poonam’s Yoga journey started when she was very young, she obtained her formal training and 200 hour certificate from Jaime Sanchez in 2014.   Since then, she has also trained with the renowned teachers- Ganga and Tracey White in California.

Poonam feels Yoga provides the tools to live a more balanced life in today’s busy world.  A regular practice can arm individuals to deal well with difficult and stressful situations.  Her classes focus on the balance between breath, mindfulness and physical fitness and are suitable for people at any level on their Yoga paths.  Yoga is different from other forms of exercise in that it emphasizes the role of breathing and mindfulness as well as muscle strength and flexibility.
