Allyssa is 26 years old and has been involved with yoga for 8 years, becoming a(n) RYT in 2014 with a focus on Hatha Yoga. As a sports enthusiast in school, yoga came as a wonderfully low impact way of exercising to Allyssa after graduating, as well as a way of feeling good without the damaging effects of high impact activity. Yoga quickly became a lifestyle for her; choosing to abstain from consuming or using animal products in conjuncture with her practice, has brought a new level of wellness and happiness to her life. Sharing the positive benefits of yoga and seeing others find peace within their own practice is a wonderful blessing for her and she is very excited to begin teaching at River Bend Yoga!
